Some of the best ideas in history are the result of approaching things in a non-traditional way. These approaches, sometimes termed ‘non-linear thinking’ can be very helpful in producing new ideas, inventions, and solutions to problems.
The human brain is amazing, but the pace and stress of everyday life often forces us into limited patterns of thinking. So when a new problem surfaces, we often get stuck. When normal approaches don’t get results, we need to leverage the untapped potential of our brains, follow the lead of some famous inventors, and think differently to get BETTER solutions. This requires utilizing non-traditional methods. This presentation identifies several methods that anyone can use to develop innovative ideas.
To prove that these methods actually work, we will experiment with a few of these techniques during the presentation. In doing so, it will become apparent that anyone can generate better solutions by using ‘non-linear’ or ‘divergent’ thinking . Some attendees may even have solutions to their problems developed during the session. Everyone is guaranteed to walk away with some new ‘thinking’ tools and the potential to create better solutions in the future.
This content can be delivered as a 60 or 90 minute presentation or in a variable length workshop format.
